Wel wordt getracht het energieverbruik per geproduceerde ton naar beneden te brengen, en daar lijken ze bij MG Plastic Recycling behoorlijk in te slagen. Al met al ligt de footprint van 1.429 ton uitstoot in de lijn van de prognose (1.439, zijnde 50% van 2.878).
